This week Tomix has a preview of the first few skills of Timekiller!
He's working hard to get it done for the January 1st deadline!
Queen Pallor So, just who is this mysterious enemy that wants Vayle? There are rumors that she has a ancient book... and that creatures that go into her lair rarely venture out!
We know that she has her legion of flying mogkees, but what other kinds of flying monsters do you guys think are under her spell?
I hope everyone had a fantastic holiday! I myself have journeyed from the Underground Lab and am now watching the snow fall outside the geoFortress* of Parentitude in Michigan!
Dracelix is already back to working on the items that will come out of the giftboxes on the 1st of January! Tomix and Verlyrus are working hard on TimeKiller and I'm working on Friday's FrostVayle quest!
Hope all of you are warm and cozy and getting ready for battle!
The bad news is, we soooo ran out of time this week! (Also, chronomancer is not cooporating with the new boss! D: You'll get funny screenies until it's fixed though!)
The good news is, the world is still here, so you still get a second quest this week!
The great news is, there is still more to come from FrostVayle after this quest!
Will the Necromancer of SiOO help you find Vayle? What is Pallor up to? Can you save the moglins and get them back into their true forms?
Did anyone get my SiOO joke? Ahh, geology humor...
Dracelix is working on your presents this year and he's already made some aaaamazing stuff! The gifts will open, as usual, on January 1st! The drop you get from this quest will let you upgrade your presents as well... but you gotta save the moglins first!
Also, huuuuuge thank you to Tomix who created the boss, Oishii who added some animations, erlyrus who helped make the boss work and all the mods and AKs who helped test the quest!
You've found the underground Amethyst City of SiOO but, will the mysterious Necromancer in charge be able to help you find Vayle? Or will you be stuck out in the cold again?
If you can rescue the moglins this year, you might be able to trade the drop from this quest for upgrades for your Frostval gifts!
A Thursday release?! Check your Frostval Storybooks for the latest quest, Finding the Red Brick Road! There are two new guests to help you along as well as a hidden shop with pumped up, color custom versions of the quest drop helms!
Also happy belated birthday to Ferakin and Dragonman as well! :D
Dracelix has made a gorgeous weapon set for his birthday that is now available in your Book of Lore for a limited time!
TimeKiller Tomix is looking for your ideas for skills! Time Killer will use two hand crossbows and an arbalest, a big crossbow that can shoot huge belts and smaller ones, like a machine gun. Time Killer can, of course, use other things for skill animations (like time bombs!) but Tomix wants to keep it ranged
As you explore the Necropolis in search of Vayle... you can't help but feel as through the creepy festive atmosphere is... unusual, even for the Necropolis. Will you find Vayle within in depths? Or would that just be waaaaaay too easy?
I hope you enjoy the decorations!
Character Pages The first Frostval gift of the year is live too! The Badges section of your character pages is now updated! Yay!
Today we have a preview of the crossbows that you'll be wielding as a TimeKiller!
These ornate weapons aren't fully shaded yet as Tomix, himself, races against time to get this class animated before New Year's Eve (in addition to artfully completing cutscenes, monsters, backgrounds, NPCs and the special Frostval gift you'll get on the 21st)!
I wonder if Cysero will finally start sharing that time booth with the rest of us?
It's a magical date... and, as the snow starts to fall in Falconreach and the townspeople gather for warmth the sound of... wings fills the air?
The opening cutscene for FrostVayle is now available through the Frostval storybook in the Book of Lore! Just what does this mysterious Queen want with Vayle? How did she give wings... the same wings that Vayle has... to the Frostval moglins? And what happens in ten days, on the 21st?!
This week Tomix brings you another preview for TimeKiller, this year's calendar class which will only be available by getting the 2013 poster from HeroMart!
The armor isn't totally done yet, as you can see. His arm still needs more chrono-armor, but the side view is almost done! Once the model is fully fleshed out, then Tomix will be able to start animating the skills!
More of Surewould is now open to explore! Make your way through the random Surewould Forest dungeon, or explore the depths of the Forest Cave! There's also something extremely strange happening at the old Linken Mill!
The Travel Gryphon has also returned in Book 3 Falconreach! You can now make your way to the beginnings of the Elemental Foothills and see what happened at Warlic's Tent! A fiery new barber has also set up shop by Mount Shining Star but, anything less than a pyromancer will be too flammable for his hot styles!
TimeKiller For this TwT, we have the very first concept sketch for TimeKiller! The class will use two fast-shooting crossbows that shoot clock arrows! Tomix definitely has some wicked skill ideas for this year's calendar class, which you'll only be able to get if you get the 2013 Poster from HeroMart!
When you enter in your code, you'll get the mysterious Time Cube in your inventory that will evolve into the armor on January 1st!
Surewould Forest The first portion of the Book 3 Surewould Forest walkaround was released on Saturday! With the walkaround were refreshed versions of two of DragonFable's classic random dungons, the Bandit Camp and the Waterfall Cave. We do have the option of replacing the art in the original versions of the randoms as well now buuuut, what would you guys prefer? Do you want to see the older art replaced as we go along as well?
Drop Shops! As we add more and more levels to the level cap, loot tables getting a larger and larger range of weapon levels. We've also had a few quests where the loot table have become excessivly large with the amount of weapons (and weapon types) that have been available to drop. The idea has been put forth to start adding "drop shops" at the end of quests which would have the entire loot table available in the shop for a small amount of DC.
For example, if you're working your way through a new quest and want that level 60 sword, but you keep getting level 30 daggers, you could pay a small amount of DC (probably about 25% of what that level DC weapon would cost) and get the weapon you want without having to grind for it. It would have the exact same art and stats as the drop but you wouldn't have to grind for it (if you didn't want to) and, since you bought it with DC, you would have free storage for it!
What do you guys think? Is this something that you'd like to see?
You guys decimated the last minute war challege! So a special Saturday release is yours! The eastern gate of Falconreach is now open for you to check out the beginnings of Surewould Forest! There are two randoms for you to find your way through too!
Awesome job finishing the war up, guys! The boss fight will be available until next Friday, then you'll have to a year to face the Spiturducken through the storybook!
