Chaosweaver Update!
Hey there, heroes!
After a successful weekend of playtesting, Chaosweaver is receiving an update!
Soulthreads are back (yaaay)! You will start each battle with 2 Soulthreads. these will be automatically used (one at a time) to empower certain skills. Empowered skills have enhanced effects (detailed below).
The Soul Assault and Untangle skills now recover 1 Soulthread each.
Soulthreads are powerful, but as the fight goes on, they may be hard to come by, so make sure you use them carefully!
Skills have been reordered as well on the skill bar.
The purposes of these changes is to allow more strategic and thoughtful play while also elevating Chaosweaver's survivability with good strategy. Rebuke was too strong and conditional, so it has been reworked.
Now for the current skills and effects (SUBJECT TO CHANGE):
Chaosweaver Passive:
- Chaosweaver has a 185% base crit damage modifier, up from 175% (the normal crit damage modifier for most classes)
Chaosweaver Skills:
- Attack
- 2 hits of 62.5% base damage each.
- Can use on-attack specials.
- Soul Aegis
- Resists death (can only be killed by DoTs, halve all fatal damage) for 2 turns.
- When Empowered, resists death for 3 turns, and grants Immobility resist +300 for 3 turns.
- 8 turn cooldown.
- Soul Gambit
- Increases Bonus and Boost by 200 for 4 turns.
- Reduces your All resist by 200 for 8 turns.
- When Empowered, allows you to act immediately after using this skill.
- 7 turn cooldown.
- Soul Slice
- 2 hits of 100% damage each.
- Applies +50 Crit for 3 turns (including this turn)
- 4 turn cooldown.
- Hexing Wheel
- 8 hits of 25% base damage each.
- Reduces all of your cooldowns by 1.
- 4 turn cooldown. (3 turn effective cooldown, sicne it lowers its own cooldown.)
- Aggression
- 8 hits of 25% base damage each.
- Applies a 50% (+stat damage) DoT on your foe for 3 turns.
- 4 turn cooldown.
- Obliterate
- 1 hit of 150% base damage.
- Stuns for 1 turn.
- 14 turn cooldown.
- Soul Assault
- 12 hits adding up to 225% base damage.
- Increases your Soulthreads by 1.
- 14 turn cooldown.
- Soul Siphon
- 2 hits of 75% base damage.
- Recovers HP based on your damage dealt and your missing HP%.
- 9 turn cooldown.
- Dominance
- 1 hit of 160% base damage to all foes.
- 3 turn cooldown.
- Soul Rip
- 1 hit of 125% base damage to all foes.
- Stun all foes for 1 turn.
- When Empowered, stuns a single foe for 3 turns, or all foes for 1 turn.
- 19 turn cooldown.
- Vengeance
- 19 hits adding up to 175% base damage.
- Reduces foe's All resist by 10 for 4 turns.
- When Empowered, reduces foe's All resist by 20 for 4 turns.
- 9 turn cooldown.
- Rebuke
- Deals damage based on your missing HP percent.
- Cannot crit.
- 3 turn cooldown.

- 5 hits of 60% base damage each.
- Built in 200 Crit.
- 20 turn cooldown.
