More Monday Updates & Fixes!

Hey there, heroes!

It's time for some Monday updates and fixes!

This week, we have some updates to the way "Glancing Crits" work, a bunch of bug fixes, and a long awaited new feature!

Updates:

  • Resistances provided by items will now appear in item descriptions.
    • Resists appear below Bonuses. May require using the arrows on the right side of the inventory to see all Resists.
    • No more unequipping everything or looking things up online or funky math necessary!
  • "Glancing Crits" (Critical Hits that have been turned into normal hits by glancing blows) have recieved some changes.
    • Damage number size has been increased in order to be more distinguishable from Glancing Blows.
    • Glancing Crits will now be considered as "critical hits" by the target, and not the attacker.
      • This is a little bit complicated, so example time!
      • The Lucky Hammer weapon adds a 10% modifier to your Critical Hits. Glancing Crits will not recieve this bonus. (Since Glancing Crits are not considered Critical Hits by the attacker)
      • The Simulacrum of Uthuluc will have its armor damaged by Glancing Crits. (Since Glancing Crits are considered Critical Hits by the target)
      • So, if in the future, there were an enemy that recieved more damage from Critical Hits, it would also recieve more damage from Glancing Crits. But if you used a skill that increased your Critical Hit damage, Glancing Crit damage would not increase.
  • Damage from STR/INT/DEX has been re-added to the Dmg section of the Character Info.
    • This was originally removed due to a misunderstanding.

Fixes:

  • Fixed an issue where equipping a pet in battle when you did not have one equipped previously would cause your pet to skip its turn.
  • Fixed an issue where equipping your dragon as a pet would not properly unequip your previous pet.
  • Fixed inconsistencies with the Cauldron Groupies challenge where the sisters would not be vulnerable to the correct damage type.
  • Fixed an issue where PvP battles would not load.

And that's all for today! The Stats and You Design Notes have also been updated to reflect these changes.
