The quests to unlock to the Ateala Armors are now available in Book 2! If you have a DA head on over to Atrea and visit your class trainer in the Spire to see if you're worthy enough to become a Riftwalker, Ascendant or Cryptic!

The tension between Warlic and Alexander has finally boiled over and they're ready to fight! Log into your Alex character to witness the maddening beginning of one of Lore's greatest villians!

The reward scythe will become available to your main characters next week through Alexander's burnt house.

The Spire
The Spire is the center of Atealan learning and governance. Visit it now through the Atrean Sentinels in the central square of Atrea! Each of the class-restricted rooms holds the preview for the new Atealan base classes! Make sure to visit the DragonFable General Discussion to give us feedback on the skills.

For now, the female versions of the armor will be their male counterparts animations. As the females get fixed and de-bugged their appearence will be updated!

It is a dire day... the calm before the storm. Even now, forces are consipring against those heroes brave enough to stand against the threat....

Unfortunately, Rolith has already been struck down by a sinister virus! One that, though he denies it, a certain paladin seems to be responsible for! (/coughdon'tcometoworksick/cough)

DA-DA-DUUUUUUUUUNNNN! Is Artix working with Wargoth to take down Rolith?!

I don't know... I'm kinda scared to ask too... who knows how vulnerable rocks are to this sickness!

In all seriousness, though, poor Rolith is out of commission. Which means the quest we wanted to get out tonight needs to be delayed until tomorrow while I hunt down other coders* to see if they can help out! It also means that the Ateala base class previews might get pushed back to early next week.

The Wrath of Wargoth
Delays on quests or no... the war doesn't wait! Wargoth is gathering his forces for a final attack.... Fire elementals, molten Squires, and... well, let's just say that more then just Veyla were unable to escape his grasp when Atrea was brought though to Lore!

In addition to Defender's Medals, the war waves will also have a chance to drop Ateala Armaments. These will merge into the watery Escelense Set. Dracelix has crafted this beautiful set and the weapons themselves react to elementals!

Wargoth will be sending an army greater then both of his previous attacks combined to Lore this time. Will you be able to conquer the fiery enslaved forces of almost an entire planet before it overruns ours?

*No, don't run Verlyrus and Khelios! I have cookies!

It’s about eleven pm. I’m working on a background and munching on fudge brownie cheesecake. I’ve been thinking about what to say about this week’s release. I think it’s safe to say it was the earworm that took hold and grew all around me. It started with those dodge commercials… “Little Red Riding Hood”… Then I happened to be reading a book by Terry Pratchett called “Witches Abroad”… wherein they encounter grandma, just before she’s about to be consumed by the big bad wolf and save grandma themselves…and finally I heard a quite good version on You Tube by Amanda Seyfried*… It was quite enjoyable… and finally the topic of DF and fairytales came up in a discussion… and I thought about it… and it all came together…. Let’s take that old favorite fairytale, Little Red Riding Hood, and, in the spirit of DF, twist it …. HERE…..Enjoy!

Venture into the warring minds of The Professor and Wargoth tonight! Tomix has created new spooky backgrounds representing their clashing dreams as well as two new monsters!

You'll also be able to fight together with the Apprentice, courtesy of Ghost!

DragonLord Keep
The new house is now available in Dragonsgrasp for 1000 DC! If you have a dragon, you'll be able to converse with it, feed it, train it and travel! There are also new gold house items available!

Reni's Bluestar Weaponry also has the new DragonLord Helm (color custom!) for DC and the DragonCrest Scythe for gold! Click on the blue gem of the DragonCrest scythe to see it transform!

DragonLord Armor
Base DragonLord Armor skill have been updated! Let us know on the forums what you think of the skills and, if everything works and you guys like them, Rolith will update the other versions of the DragonLord Armor next week.

MOP Hits Amityvale!
Eric Greydawn, the Lady and Chainsword all converged on the office this week and have determined that something... several somethings, are disturbing the wildlife in the woods outside of Amityvale! This week a new random quest will appear on the Amityvale path to help the MOP team clear out those woods!

In other words, Eric now can make random quests! He just laughed evilly when I asked how big the map was going to be....

DragonLord Things
Ghost is working on getting the evolved and color custom versions of the DragonLord Armor available for you guys this week! Rolith has also been following the thread about the skills on the forums and will be working on the class on Friday. 

Dracelix has also created an amazing new house for DF's birthday that will be available Friday in Dragonsgrasp!

The Iglica - Coming Soon!
Tomix is working on the next Atrea expansion! The Iglica (the word for spire in Atealan) towers in the center of Atrea. It houses the throne room of the Atealan Empress and the training rooms for the Atealan classes!

Tomix wanted me to point out the shading is not done yet!

The Iglica will not open this week, but soooooooon!

Tomix is also working on the backgrounds for a very twisted dreamscape. Kathool isn't back... so who's mind (or minds!) are you going to venture into?!

The Civil District of Atrea is now open for exploration! You can replay the Rift War through Zon'Izz or find Yolande, the lady in waiting of the Atealean Queen, to help secure the new home of the Ateala from the dangers of the surrounding desert. 

The three new randoms all drop paraginium, the stone that was used to build the city. You can turn in the resource to Moab to get new wings, a new helm or the Hunger Blossom Scythe. Two of the new randoms also drop items sets! The Night Annex and Lifenel sets will drop in the desert quests. If you just want to farm paraginium head to the caves!

The coming weeks will see Atrea expand as Tomix finishes up more districts! 

Tomix is working hard on getting the civil district of Atrea done for tomorrow, Ghost is working hard on weapons and True Mortal is working on a possible new helm or cape*!

This week we'll get to delve further into The Anomaly... the city of Atrea! Tomix is working hard on getting the first section of the town ready, the Civil District. Since the Ateala used to be dimensional travelers each new section of the town will have a different architechtural influence!

There will also be new random quests to go along with the town so you guys can start collecting your paraginium for the eventual class training and item merges!
